Herbert Rosenfield

Herbert (Herb) Rosenfield was born in 1918 in Far Rockaway, New York. His parents were Bertha and Abner Rosenfield. Bertha was born in New York City and Abner immigrated to New York from his native Bessarabia. Herb’s maternal grandparents, Pauline (Levy) and William Fischman,) were distinguished civic leaders and philanthropists in New York City.

Audrey Rosenfield

The precept that guided Audrey throughout her life including her philanthropy, was “to thine own self be true.” She particularly valued working with students of all ages and individuals serving people and communities in need, especially at Friends Seminary, the New York School for the Deaf, and with her beloved Herbert, Borough of Manhattan Community College and New York Downtown Hospital.
